Our client, a leading expert in the established telecoms industry is looking for a Mobile Data Core Engineer to join their organization. The Mobile Data Core Engineer will be responsible for delivering solutions for the company, while ensuring that they are delivered in a consistent and reliable manner. The duties of this role include:
- Researching, recommending, and implementing different technical solutions
- Leading projects and preparing technical procedures while also delivering the necessary training
- Troubleshooting and timely corrective action of any issues that arise
- Maintaining the current equipment and executing the successful integration of new equipment
- Generating, monitoring and analysing of technical reports
Skill-sets and Requirements
- Experience on Ericsson mobile data core equipment is required
- Extensive knowledge of mobile network protocols such as GTP, SS7 and Diameter is also required
- Experience in mobile data core network projects
- Experience in protocol tracing and analysis
- Basic knowledge of Linux, IP and scripting is preferred
- Strong teamwork skills and result-driven
- A good command of the English language
Education & Experience
A Degree/Diploma level of education in ICT, IT, networking, telecommunications or equivalent
