Our client, operating in the financial industry, is looking for an experienced and competent Infrastructure Manager to join their team:
Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of On-Prem and Cloud IT infrastructures to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability.
Maintain strong working relationships with third-party vendors and service providers.
Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders across various levels of the organization.
Serve as a technical escalation point for IT support issues across all core and remote sites, ensuring consistent, cost-effective, and efficient support services for end users.
Ensure robust business continuity plans are in place for all critical services.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the IT function, promoting innovation and operational excellence.
Develop, implement, and maintain IT processes and procedures, with a strong emphasis on security best practices.
Actively participate in management meetings and provide regular updates to senior leadership on the status and performance of the technology landscape.
Requirements
Proven experience with Microsoft Cloud technologies, including: Office 365, Hosted Exchange, Intune, and Microsoft Defender, Microsoft 365 administration and performance optimization
Experience managing Azure virtual servers and desktops is a Must.
Familiarity with cloud hosting environments and services.
Knowledge of WatchGuard firewalls and broader infrastructure design and management.
Strong background in information and cyber security practices.
Hands-on experience with networking hardware such as Cisco, HP, and Planet switches, and Meraki access points.
Experience managing third-party vendors, including contract and service level management.
Solid understanding of telephony infrastructure.
Education and Experience
Minimum of 5 years in a similar IT role.
Familiarity with implementation and management of information security frameworks (ideally NIST, ISO27001 also acceptable).
