Head of IT

A financial growing company who is looking to grow their business, are looking for a Head of IT. The chosen individual will be reporting directly to the CEO. The role calls for an experienced technical person who will assume responsibility for the Information Systems and Technology of the institution. The Head of IT will be accountable for the alignment of all technology systems to the business strategy within the limits of costs and timelines. Within this role, your main responsibilities would be: 

  • Defining IT Strategy for the company in its growth phase
  • Ensuring the smooth operation of all IT Assets, via key stakeholders
  • Defining, and prioritizing, projects to reduce disruption and/or disruption risk
  • Ensuring IT processes, policies and tools are in line with industries' best practices
  • Ensure security of data, continuity of network access, and effective backup systems
  • Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
  • Audit systems and assess their outcomes
  • Preserve assets, information security, and control structures
  • Handle annual budget and ensure cost-effectiveness

 

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • Extensive experience in both functional and technical Microsoft Dynamics NAV
  • Experience with setting up Data Warehouses
  • Project Leadership skills
  • At least 15 years IT experience, with at least 5 in a mid-senior management position
  • Expertise in data centre management and data governance
