Systems Administrator

A tech company is looking for a Systems Administrator to provide first and second-line support to end-users in a timely manner and escalate whenever necessary. Your main responsibilities would be to:

  • Diagnose, research and resolve routine end-user issues in a timely manner through established protocol and troubleshooting; escalate as necessary
  • Provide guidance and explain policies and procedures to end-users
  • Communicate and translate technical information to non-technical end-users
  • maintain communication and monitor incident through resolution
  • Train customers on new devices and technologies
  • Install the software on new or existing devices, in accordance with standard procedures
  • Assist in the set-up of new equipment and devices
  • Assist users in obtaining access to systems
  • Utilize and maintain knowledge bases, FAQs and vendor documentation
  • Contribute to documentation of incidents, internal processes, and procedures, maintenance of equipment, and training manual.

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in Technical Support
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft applications and environments
  • Basic Networking and Cloud knowledge
  • Knowledgeable in back-ups and desktop support
  • Experience with networking and WI-FI setups
  • PC & Laptop troubleshooting, maintenance and setup
  • Windows 10 and Windows Server system troubleshooting
  • Ability to work with customer and vendors to identify and resolve network problems
  • Ability to apply appropriate corrective procedures to identified problems
