Our client, a world class ICT Solutions provider, is urgently recruiting a Network Engineer that can join their existing team to accelerate their growth!
Candidates need to be based in Malta or the EU.
Responsibilities:
- Must haves: Wireshark experience, routing protocols, DNS, SSL, and integration experience
- Design, deploy, and support the internal network
- Design, deploy, and support client networks, often times on site
- Consistently improve and innovate our clients networks to ensure the best technology is deployed for the job
- Monitor, Manage and Maintain network health and integrity
- Analyse data and define network capacity models and performance metrics
- Use automation principles to optimize and secure the network from threats and issues
- Participate in the creation and maintenance of available documentation regarding processes, network mapping, and network configuration.
- Perform analysis and monitoring of network availability and performance over expectations; carry out performance tuning and assist in troubleshooting network issues; make network performance reports and statistics available.
- Evaluate new network hardware/software to ensure their compatibility with the company’s operations before they are recommended to customers
- Partner with various departments to ensure security standards are adhered to
- Perform on-call duties as a member of the on-call rotation team
- Manage various networking projects by creating plans and implementing them
- Ensure customer satisfaction by continuously following up with clients
- Heavy focus on optimization
Skill-sets and Requirements
- Excellent experience with Networking, protocols, and GDRP
- Expereicen with OFPS, wifi 6, mobility masters and controllers
- Must have: Wireshark experience, routing protocols, DNS, SSL, and integration experience
- Experience with 2 Factor Authentication protocols and encryption principles
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics/Telecommunications / Computer Science / Computer Engineering or equivalent
