Our client is looking for an IT Administrator specializing in Networking. Your key responsibilities will include;
Maintaining the security of the network and performing administration of all network-related components within high profile IT systems (firewalls, switches, F5s, load balancers, management of access control lists, IPs, VLAN segregation etc)
Working closely with the Infrastructure Manager and Information Security team to identify any areas of improvement
Managing the tools for pro-actively alerting the respective technical teams through the event and incident management processes
Involvement in 1st and 2nd line support of various systems and perform timely system diagnostics and escalation
Working with the technical teams to meet and exceed SLAs and KPIs together with continuous improvement schemes of both performance and process
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology
Experience with F5s, Cisco firewalls, IPS/IDS load balancers, switches etc
CCNA qualification
Knowledgeable or experience of WAN, LANs, and VLANs
Experience in an IT environment
Experience with using remote deployment tools/ application support / patch management and/or anti-virus updates and/or back up management and/or monitoring tools.
Good understanding of server and workstation hardware and operating systems
Desired skills:
Good troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A team player and customer focussed individual with knowledge of Network topology
