IT Administrator

Our client, operating within the energy industry is seeking to recruit an IT Administrator to join their team. 

Responsibilities:

System Administration:

•  Handling the administration and support of servers, hardware and operating systems
• Performing regular system updates and apply patches to maintain security and ensure optimal performance
• Managing user accounts and permissions

Network Administration:

• Overseeing, troubleshooting, and managing the organization's network infrastructure to guarantee consistent uptime and reliability 
• Establishing and sustaining network security protocols to safeguard against unauthorized access and potential threats.

Documentation:

• Ensuring that all documentation of network configuration, procedures and troubleshooting is handled
• Developing and updating system documentation 

Monitoring and Reporting:

• Generating regular reports on network and systems performance 

Technical Support for users:

• Handling first line technical support to end users, with both hardware and software issues 
• Supporting with training end users on IT related Matters 

Requirements

• A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of server and network hardware
• Strong understanding in MS Intune, Azure, SharePoint and MS Services
• Excellent verbal and written English and Maltese

Education and Experience

• A Diploma level of education
