Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator

Our client is looking for a Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator. Your roles and responsibilities will include: 

• Organize and manage inventory, storage, and transportation across multiple warehouses
• Oversee goods movement using equipment like palletizers and forklifts, ensuring efficient and safe handling
• Maintain clean, well-organized warehouses that comply with Health & Safety standards
• Conduct regular stock checks, inventory counts, and audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) methodology for stock rotation and manage waste disposal responsibly
• Plan inbound and outbound logistics to meet project and distribution timelines, ensuring smooth receipt, storage, and delivery of goods
• Plan daily schedules and delegate tasks to warehouse and delivery staff
• Supervise team performance, address issues, and provide training to enhance skills and efficiency
• Ensure staff are well-presented and comply with company uniform and grooming standards
• Foster excellent customer satisfaction throughout the logistics process
• Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and conduct routine audits
• Maintain warehouse security to prevent pilferage
• Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance for equipment and fleet, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with VRT standards
• Manage transportation and distribution of goods to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
• Inspect incoming goods for quality and accuracy, reporting damages as needed
• Prepare, load, and deliver customer orders safely, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to timelines

Requirements

• Conduct and assist in Health & Safety audit checks
• Good team player

Education and Experience

• Experience in a similar position is considered an asset
