A vacancy for a Technical Buyer in Electronics has now arisen. In this role, you will be working in the purchasing department of our client and your main responsibilities will include:
- Evaluating purchasing requirements and negotiating contracts with suppliers to ensure the purchase of goods whilst achieving competitive and advantageous commercial terms;
- Liaising with internal stakeholders in formulating needs and identifying the most competitive suppliers;
- Ensuring that the purchased materials are delivered in a timely manner and conformant with company quality standards and procedures;
- Establishing and maintaining stores & purchasing policies and procedures by managing and monitoring procurement reporting systems;
- Identifying procurement and supplier risk and document them accordingly;
- Maintain records of the goods ordered and received;
- Analysing market opportunities and plan material resource to meet customer requirements.
Education and Experience
- At least five years experience in a purchasing role within a manufacturing set-up
- Technical buying experience and knowledge is a necessity
- Deep understanding and professional experience in a manufacturing setting and with Purchasing Contracts
- Proven track record of negotiating skills and procurement savings
- Fluency of English language is necessary

- Ability to prioritize your work and perform effectively under pressure and within specific deadlines
- Have strong knowledge of using MS Office tools
