Supply Planner

€25,000 - €29,000  |  Malta

Within this job of a Supply Planner you will mainly be building production plans respecting agreed time frames to meet client's demands and minimising costs while reporting directly to the Sales and Operations Planning Manager.

Responsibilities include:

  • Create a feasible production plan vis a vis capacity - review and adjust as required
  • Validate material availability and monitor delivery dates
  • Identify possible opportunities internally for improvements
  • Allocation of finished goods within the different sites and propose transportation needs to ensure balance distribution across the warehouses
  • Monitor product freshness and ensure clearance of aging goods
  • Evaluate and review stock cover policy
  • Contribute to cross functional planning
  • Data Management kept up to date at all times - shift patterns, maintenance downtimes, housekeeping etc
  • Other ad hoc projects from time to time


Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business or related field is a must
  • 2 years experience within a related role is a must - factory planning, supply network planning, purchasing, demand planning or similar
  • Native level of Maltese and professional level of English is a must
  • MS Software skills: Advanced Excel, Powerpoint and Word
  • Exposure to an ERP system is needed (Microsoft AX experience preferred)
  • Clean police conduct
