Supply Chain Manager


The job of a Supply Chain Manager is with a leading manufacturing industry in Malta. Forming part pf the management team, your main job responsibilities will include:

  • Team leading and development
  • Coordinating material planning, inventory and warehousing and transport logistics within the local facilities
  • Planning and organising deliveries according to required schedules
  • Managing and resolving constraints occurring at supply-base
  • Overseeing product storage, handling and distribution
  • Liaising with various functions within the business to ensure effective flow of materials and use of inventory
  • Organising export shipments and preparing the associated documentation

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • A strong analytical, problem solving and negotiating skills
  • Excellent leadership skills aimed at motivating the team
  • Highly developed communication skills both in Maltese and English in order to translate complex supply chain issues to parties involved

Education & Experience

  • A Degree or equivalent in Purchasing/ Logistics & Supply Chain
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in a Supply Chain position
  • Local experience in handling supply chain and local imports/export regulations
