The Stores & Delivery Person is responsible for providing logistical support to the HVAC, lifts, or alternative energy teams by transporting equipment, materials, and personnel to job sites. This role combines driving and running duties to ensure efficient operations and timely delivery of necessary components for installations and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Transport small parts, tools, and documents between the office, factory, stores and job sites.
- Assist team members by delivering necessary materials and supplies promptly.
- Manage inventory, ensuring that parts and tools are readily available and organized.
- Manage and monitor tools and consumables sent for repair or given to employees
- Perform administrative tasks such as logging deliveries, updating records, and managing paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate logistics and address on-site needs.
- Ensure secure loading and unloading of items, including large and /or delicate components.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure safe and reliable operation.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Familiarity with equipment and components related to HVAC, lifts, or alternative energy preferred.
- Ability to lift and handle heavy items as needed.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
