Purchasing Clerk

  Central Malta  |  €19,500 - €21,000 Annually 

A leading FMCG company in Malta are looking for a Purchasing Clerk to join their growing team.

Responsibilities

  • Liaising and coordinating with suppliers
  • Daily stock monitoring, issuing of stock & sales reports, and maintaining of the planning sheets.
  • Setting up of the order details by creating a Purchase Order from based on stock in hand, average sales, and lead time.
  • Submission of Purchase Order to the relevant suppliers and the coordination of the expedite collection date with the Logistics team.
  • Creation and maintenance of stock cards and to upkeep the purchasing policies and standards.
  • Correct upkeeping of price lists, invoices, packing lists, landed prices, product images, safety data sheets, product specification sheets and certificates. 
  • Ensures with the Purchasing Executive that all product labelling is in line with the local and EU regulations prior to order confirmation.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of relevant admin experience, previous experience in purchasing is preferred
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills in English, Maltese is preferred
