  South of Malta  |  €28,000 - €32,000 Annually 

As our client's Purchasing Department grows, we are looking for a meticulous and skilled Purchaser to join their team. In this role, you will oversee procurement processes, ensuring materials and services are sourced promptly and cost-effectively

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the procurement and tracking of direct, indirect, and MRO materials and supplies.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent quality and on-time delivery.
  • Develop and evaluate reliable sources of supply, explore alternative vendors, conduct new supplier sourcing, and support supplier qualification.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to secure timely material availability, monitor order status, review deliveries, and coordinate periodic evaluations.
  • Lead and implement cost-saving initiatives that uphold quality and compliance standards.

Requirements

  • Proficient knowledge of IT applications primarily MS Office and ERP systems.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.

Education and Experience

  • A tertiary level of education in procurement, supply chain management, or comparable qualification.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
