Procurement Executive

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Procurement Executive to ensure timely sourcing and delivery of materials to support production and customer needs.

• Prepare and issue purchase orders to suppliers, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor and track customer orders to guarantee timely and accurate fulfilment.
• Ensure all purchased materials are ordered in line with production and customer requirements.
• Follow up with suppliers to confirm on-time delivery and correct quantities.
• Coordinate with suppliers to address and resolve any discrepancies, shortages, or delays.
• Conduct discrepancy checks and arrange additional orders where necessary.
• Maintain and update the Bill of Materials (BOM) accurately.
• Perform periodic inventory checks (e.g., every six months) to verify stock levels and availability of parts.
• Compile and maintain records and regular reports using Excel.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues across plants, factories, and offices, ensuring clear communication in English.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the purchasing department as required.

Working Hours:

8.5-hour workday, including a 30-minute break

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, tables, reporting, and data entry.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when handling orders, data, and documentation.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, follow up on orders, and resolve issues proactively.
• Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with colleagues and external partners.

Education and Experience

• Previous experience in purchasing, supply chain, or inventory management is considered as an asset
