Planning Specialist

Our client is looking to employ a Planning Specialist. Your responsibilities include: 

• Oversee the operational procurement procedure for direct materials, aiming to minimize inventory, optimize costs, and guarantee timely material availability. Ensure prompt handling of purchase requisitions for direct materials, minimizing write-offs, and serve as a liaison between production planning and the execution of purchase orders.
• Coordinate the implementation of new Artworks in printed materials, ensuring timely execution aligned with customer requirements and minimizing the disposal of excess stocks.
• Maintain an updated database, negotiate with customers in case of Artwork approval delays, and ensure accurate BOM/PV in case of material code changes.
• Collaborate with Purchaser/Planners and management to devise solutions for challenges in meeting the Material Plan, ensuring the attainment of the Master Schedule.
• Provide necessary support to achieve Inventory Record Accuracy, ensuring inventory goals are met and levels are not exceeded.
• Assure proper maintenance of the Master Data in SAP, according to the business needs.
• Assure the availability in SAP of new items or changes requires. Manage and maintain in SAP all
  requirement parameter for the proper supply management in MRP.
• Perform periodic controls to check the reliability of the data and the recovery of any missing
  information in Master Data.
• Assure fast availability in SAP of new Product Versions according to established deadlines. Control
  and changes in the different interphases with the rest of the systems that recipes information from
  SAP Master Data.
• Assure proper process of obsolesce and correct inventory input.

Skill-sets and Requirements

• Previous experience in similar roles and/or industry.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good time management skills.

Education & Experience

• Previous experience in a Pharmaceutical or Manufacturing setting.
• Relevant educational qualification.
