Material Handler

Our client, a company operating within the healthcare industry is recruiting for a Material Handler to manage most of the logistics operations outlined below as required by the R&D personnel and the R&D Laboratories. Reporting to the R&D Department, your duties will include;

Managing logistical operations within the R&D function to support the Malta R&D group testing requirements. This should be in conformance with the applicable requirements. 

Managing samples related to R&D testing activities from sample reception to sample discard: carry boxes or pallets to the designated location (with forklift when needed) and keep the traceability of these items.

Managing samples, climatic chambers and areas dedicated to real time and accelerated ageing processes.

Ensuring that work area is well maintained also in accordance to EHS regulations related to area of responsibility. 

Supporting in the shipment of samples to other company facilities or to external companies (e.g. for sterilization).

Carrying out most of the activities in the warehouse area.

This role is being offered on a full time basis, working hours are from 09:00 till 18:00 

Skill-sets and Requirements

• Previous experience working within a warehouse environment shall be considered an asset.
• A forklift license and experience shall be considered an asset.
• Fluent in English language: both written and spoken.

Education & Experience

• Have an ECDL Certification or proficient in using MS Office and Outlook
• O'Level standard of education is ideal
