Administration and Shipping Clerk - Part time

A part-time Administration and Shipping Clerk position is now available with a manufacturing company in Malta to oversee purchasing, shipping, and general administration. Your main responsibilities would include:-

  • Manage shipping and logistics by organizing the delivery of orders
  • Evaluate different transport or shipping alternatives in terms of cost, time and reliability.
  • Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers keeping in mind price, quality, quantity, delivery date and any special arrangements which may be necessary
  • Placing orders with suppliers, after verifying required volumes and specifications
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery
  • Check invoices and liaise internally to oversee they are paid in time
  • Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
  • Other general administrative duties that may be required

Education & Experience:

  • An O'level standard of Education
  • Experience in a similar role would be considered an asset
  • Fluency in Maltese is preferred. Knowledge of English is a must. 


  • Able to adhere to strict deadlines
  • A self-starter and can work with minimum supervision
  • Organized and good time management skills

Working hours are 4 hours morning (8AM-12PM or 09AM-13PM)
