Unity Developer

A leader in Game Development is looking to employ a Senior Unity Developer with 5+ years of experience. As a Unity Developer, you will be part of the interdisciplinary team, developing and adding to the new line-up of online games, starting with an unannounced title.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve our own game engine being developed on top of Unity in collaboration with the partners and for related strategy games.
• Working directly with data oriented gameplay, graphics pipeline, and RTS-like features.
• Undertake performance profiling and optimization
• Writing and maintaining fast code, adhering to international standards
• Writing and maintaining detailed technical design and software documentation
• Collaborating closely with all departments and key members to create and deliver an exceptional and involving online game play experience

Skill-sets and Requirements

• 5+ years 3D games development experience
• Experience with large scale Unity projects, ideally live service games.
• Advanced knowledge of the Unity games engine
• Ability to produce fast, well documented and easily extendable code (please provide samples if possible)
• Experience in shipping, releasing or live developing on at least one commercial product or game
• Ability to articulate and document technical designs clearly and analytically
• Ability to communicate effectively and objectively in English
• Knowledge of multiplayer/PvP/online game development practices
• Previous experience with Unity DOTS or experience in ECS/Data-Oriented Design
• Familiarity with agile software development and scrum-based working environments
