Test Lead

Our client, operating in the payments industry, is looking for a motivated Test Lead to join their growing team: 

Responsibilities

• Facilitate test planning discussions with Business, Technical, PMO, and QA teams.
• Mentor Test Analysts, ensuring adherence to best testing practices aligned with the company’s Test Strategy.
• Develop and finalize the Test Plan in collaboration with the team, obtaining approval from the Test Manager and Client Service Delivery Manager.
• Determine the testing scope based on project requirements and define the necessary testing effort.
• Identify key quality metrics and continuously monitor performance.
• Maintain and update test suites for Smoke, Functional, and Regression testing to ensure system stability and code reliability.
• Lead defect triage meetings, prioritize issues, and ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies related to testing.
• Prepare and distribute reports, including test run summaries, defect analysis, and test closure reports, to relevant stakeholders.
• Own test reporting and dashboard creation for testing activities.
• Identify skill gaps within the team and coordinate training programs for Test Analysts.
• Organize and deliver knowledge transfer sessions on test-related tools such as Test Reporting, Test Management, and Test Automation.
• Manage the daily tasks and responsibilities of the testing team.
• Participate in complex testing scenarios as required.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate teams.
• Proficiency in SQL and database management.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet business deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and quality-driven approach.

Education and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing.
• A degree in Business and IT or an equivalent professional qualification.
• ISTQB certification.
• Previous experience in the Payment Industry.
