Senior Java Developer (Remote)

Our client within the FinTech industry is on the lookout for Senior Java Developer to join their growing team.

Candidates within a +/- 2 hour timezone can work fully remotely, whilst candidates in Malta have the option to either work in a hybrid-work model or fully remotely, too.

Your Responsibilities:

• Delivering innovative technologies that make internal systems work in a simpler and more flexible way.
• Delivering solutions to customers in a fast manner.
• Working on current enhancements and assisting with shaping the future platform whilst continuously finding a way to improve it and offering solutions.

Skill-sets and Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
• Excellent knowledge on Java with solid experience working with Spring framework.
• Strong experience with microservice based architectures and related tools such as Spring Boot, REST and Kafka (or similar such as RabbitMQ).
• Experience on Docker would be considered an asset.
• Knowledge on MySQL.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
