QA Automation Engineer

Our client is growing and they are looking for an Automation QA Engineer to join their team. The candidate needs to either already be in Malta or willing to relocate to Malta with the option to work in a hybrid-work model.

You will be focusing on:

• Developing and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks using industry-standard tools and technologies.
• Designing, implementing, and executing automated tests for platform applications.
• Collaborating with developers and product managers to identify test requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
• Conducting test case reviews to ensure adequate test coverage and identifying potential gaps or areas for improvement.
• Executing automated tests, analyzing test results, and reporting defects in a clear and concise manner.
• Working closely with the development team to reproduce, debug, and resolve issues found during testing.
• Continuously enhancing and optimizing the automation test suite to improve test efficiency and coverage.
• Staying up-to-date with industry best practices, tools, and trends in automation testing.

Skill-sets and Requirements

• Between 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience on automation testing OR a Degree or Masters in Computer Science or similar.
• Motivation and determination to continiously expand your technical knowledge and grow within the team.
• If you have knowledge in either Javascript, Cypress, AWS or Cloudfare this will be considered a nice asset, but it is not a must have.
• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
