PHP Software Developer

  Central Malta  |  €45,000 - €60,000 Annually 

Our client within a very interesting industry and focusing on the future of technology, is on the lookout for a PHP Software Developer to join their team.

With the option to work mostly remotely, the candidate is still expected to relocate to Malta.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Developing, testing and maintaining the company's PHP based application.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional team to gather and analyze project requirements such as Data Scientists.
  • Writing clean, efficient and secure PHP code whilst improving and optimizing existing code.
  • Debugging and resolving software defects and issues in a timely manner.
  • Continuously seek ways to enhance system scalability, security, and user experience.

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • Expertise on PHP and/or Laravel with proven work experience.
  • At least 5 years of work experience in a similar role, using PHP.
  • Proficiency on front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Must be based in the EU and open to relocating to Malta.
