Junior React Developer

A client of ours is looking for a Junior React developer to join their team in Malta. You will be responsible for the UX/UI of a new project and to liaise with other back-end developers to build up enterprise-class software.

You will be responsible for:

•  The UX/UI of a new project and to liaise with other back-end developers to build up enterprise-class software
• Writing and testing efficient and reusable code
• Testing for usability and bug fixing as well as deploying the solution
• Remaining at the forefront of technology through active research to ensure the quality of products
• Working in an agile team, performing weekly sprints 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Skill-sets and Requirements

• Working experience with TypeScript and JavaScript (React + Redux) is a must
• Strong experience in writing well-documented and clean HTML, CSS, SaSS and JavaScript tooling (webpack, rollup.js)
• Experience in working with RESTful APIs and Web sockets
• Some experience on scalable and performant web applications would also be considered an asset
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming and databases
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English, both written and oral

Education & Experience

• Preferably have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• A minimum of 1 year of professional experience working in a similar role of UX/UI
