Frontend Web Developer

Our client, an industry leader in the field of identity verification, is seeking to recruit a Frontend Web Developer to be part of the team of developers implementing the company’s software products. 

Your duties:

• Programming web front end in Vue.js;
• Design and develop innovative web applications that draw the user’s attention;
• Write reusable, effective, and scalable JavaScript code;
•  Implement front-end components with progressive Vue.js framework;
•  Analyze software requirements and designs unit tests;
• Test, update and optimize the application for performance and security;
• Maintain descriptive technical documentation, ensuring the timely delivery and quality of deliverables;
• Escalate unresolved problems and other important matters in a timely manner to the HoSD;
• Accountable for the on-time and quality delivery of software development projects and participating in team meetings to assist in work-related problems, ensuring all production issues are dealt with within the Service Level agreements;

• Due to the urgency of this role, the candidate is only considering candidates who are located in Malta or in the EU.
• Not looking to relocate to Malta and are interested to work in any country in the EU? this position is also open remotely!
• Salary depends on one's exposure and experience.

Ideal candidate:

• Previous experience working as Frontend Web Developer. 
• 5 years of experience working with Javascript, do you have less than that? you can also have 2-3 years of experience working with Javascript and 2 years of proven experience working with Vue.js. 
• You do not have Vue.js experience? we are also considering applications from candidates who have over 5 years of experience working with Javascript.

Skill-sets and Requirements

• 5 years programming experience with JavaScript and CSS OR at least 2 years of proven experience working with Vue.js, GIT, Jira and Linux;
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture;
• Developed scripts for SQL & NOSQL data management systems;

Education & Experience

A Bachelor’s Degree in IT or a related field.
