Frontend Developer (Web)
Reporting to: Software Development Manager - Technical Unit
Responsibilities:
The Frontend Developer will design, develop, and maintain high-quality web solutions for leading global financial institutions.
- Contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle.
- Develop, maintain, and ensure quality across web products and services.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers, and other teams to meet client requirements.
- Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and practices.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Solid understanding of UX principles and accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Experience resolving browser compatibility issues.
- Knowledge of database systems, preferably Oracle.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Education and Experience
- Degree in ICT or related field
- 1-2 years of experience with JavaScript (ES6), HTML5, Bootstrap, SASS, and Vue3.
- Located in Malta and local experience
