A Start-up Company within a group of companies in Malta, is seeking to employ a Dynamics Business Central Developer who will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software development principles, experience in developing ERP systems, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and design technical solutions
- Develop and customize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions using C/AL or AL programming language
- Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Perform unit testing and system testing to ensure the quality of the solution
- Document development and testing activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest development tools and techniques to continuously improve the solution development process
- Participate in project implementation and post-implementation support activities
- Provide technical support to end-users as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies
- Experience with C/AL or AL programming language
- Experience with Visual Studio Code and Azure DevOps
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certification is a plus
