Our client, an established operator within the hospitality industry, is currently seeking a Technical Executive to join their dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Assistant Maintenance Manager, your main duties will include the following:
- Hold regular meetings with the Maintenance Manager.
- Supporting with the supervision of the Technical team, ensure work progress & quality.
- Schedule routine tasks - weekly and monthly and maintain detailed and timely records
- Prioritise unscheduled works that arise from time to time and ensure matters are addressed within a timely manner.
- Assist with planning and finalising of rosters.
- Motivate and ensure attendance, punctuality and discipline.
- Ensure stock levels are adequately kept and draw up purchasing requisitions for non-stock items
- Ensure maintenance tools and equipment are available when needed, kept in good condition and stored safely.
- Keep abreast with Health and Safety Regulations and ensuring these are enforced accordingly.
- Liaise with other departments as required.
Working hours - Monday to Saturday with a day off during the week (40 hour week)
Skillsets & Requirements:
- Approachable and a leader by nature adapting a hands on approach
- Problem solving and Organisational skills
- Good level of communication in both Maltese and English is desired (however, English is a must)
Education & Experience:
- Previous experience in a supervisory position is a must.
- Relevant trade-related qualifications and/or 3 years related experience.
- Must hold a Licence A.
