An international manufacturing company in Malta are looking for a Technician to provide support to business units by maintaining equipment in top condition.
Responsibilities:
- Providing technical and troubleshooting support and carrying out preventive maintenance
- Carrying out routine maintenance on all plant facilities machinery and equipment to include fault finding, problem-solving and minor repairs to minimise downtime
- Needs to be able to read and interpret schematic and general arrangement diagrams as per specialisation field
- Takes part in the installation of new equipment
- Completes work dockets and associated systems for ease of breakdown reporting and logging faults.
- Embraces the principles of lean manufacturing, total productive maintenance and the need for continuous Improvement.
Requirements:
- MQF level 4 in mechanical/electrical or any other engineering field or higher.
- Experience in electrical repair and maintenance.
- Proficient in written and spoken English whilst Maltese is highly preferred
- Proven fault-findings capabilities, in all fields of mechatronics, i.e. electrical, electronics, IT and mechanics.
- Ability to work as part of a team
Working Hours
- 4 Shift Basis
Day - 6am till 6pm
Night - 6pm till 6am
Rest and Off
The role includes Basic Salary + Shift Allowance
