Senior Technician

Malta

Our client a leading operator in its industry is currently seeking to recruit a Senior Technician to join their team. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager and responsible for:

Responsibilities

  • Planning and conducting maintenance and servicing of plant, machinery and equipment to the required standards in a timely manner 
  • Providing technical troubleshooting and carrying out preventative maintenance, together with the breakdown maintenance of facilities equipment
  • Carry out facility inspections to ensure preventive maintenance implementation and identify and resolve issues;
  • Monitor and assist with regular maintenance of the plant, machinery and equipment, and services;
  • Plan and oversee the installation of plant, machinery and equipment as may be required;
  • Work in accordance with any training or instruction given;
  • Make use of any safety or protective equipment or devices supplied;
  • Adhere to company rules, procedures and guidelines;
  • Occupational Health and Safety.


Requirements

  • Ideally 2 years of Manufacturing / Industrial operation knowledge.
  • Experience with Maintenance Management Systems
  • License A & B are considered an asset
  • Related Technical Qualifications will be considered an asset
  • Possess communication skills in terms of the ability to operate machines 
  • Able to work in a dynamic environment, self-motivated and be able to handle pressure and adhere to deadlines
  • Working knowledge of the major areas and the skill to integrate and communicate that information
  • Excellent command of English, Maltese would also be preferred
  • Currently living in Malta
