Our client who specializes in the Maritime industry is looking for a Marina Assistant. Your roles and responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with all operational activities in the Marina
- Observing and implementing established safety and operational policies and procedures
- Operation, upkeep, and maintenance of the company’s boats and equipment
- Monitoring and logging of boat details
- Carrying out routine general and preventive maintenance to ensure that marina infrastructure, boats, and equipment are kept in optimal operational order
- Carrying out urgent maintenance on utility pedestals
- Identifying urgent matters where a boat may be at risk and taking immediate action
- Monitoring water and electricity supply to prevent wastage or loss
- Monitoring waste oil drums and skips to prevent pollution of the Marina environment
- Carrying out pontoon patrols as necessary
