Manufacturing Technician

Malta

Manufacturing Technician vacancy has arisen with one of our clients following internal growth within the team.  Within this job you will form part of a team actively working together on improvement, preventive and breakdown maintenance of the production site. Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Overseeing any mechanical equipment and running of the plant 
  • Administering routine repairs and preventative maintenance of machinery and equipment 
  • Conducting any modifications and installations of mechanical and electrical machinery
  • Documenting and recording any installations and alterations 
  • Ensuring the work environment is adhering to the health and safety guidelines and other company standards
     

Important: NO OVERNIGHT SHIFT but must be willing to work on 2 or 3 Shift basis (shift allowances included)


Education and Experience 

  • Technical Diploma or an equivalent qualification is a must - BTEC Diploma / HND Engineering (MQF 4/5)
  • Continuous improvement Experience / Certification is highly desirable
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role 
  • Wireman license A &/or B is preferred / training provided if necessary
  • Native level of Maltese would be ideal, however, a good level of English - written and spoken is a must
