Our highly reputable client has been in the industry for over 40 years. They are continuously growing and they are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join their team in Malta.
Your Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure smooth operation.
- Inspect machinery regularly and follow a scheduled maintenance plan.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime.
- Assist with the installation, setup, and calibration of new equipment.
- Support equipment upgrades and modifications to enhance productivity.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs and parts used.
- Adhere to safety protocols and stay informed on industry standards.
- Communicate effectively with production teams to coordinate maintenance efforts.
- Manage inventory levels of spare parts and tools.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize maintenance processes.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 6AM - 2PM and 2PM - 10PM
This role is also open to junior as well as candidates with some years of similar experience.
Requirements
- Experience working in either mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Must be already based in Malta.
