One of our clients is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for:
- Conducting routine maintenance and inspections on production equipment including bottling machines and blow-moulding machines to ensure optimal functionality.
- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Performing preventive maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and enhance overall production efficiency.
- Collaborating with the production team to identify and address maintenance needs
- Utilizing technical expertise to troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment.
- Always Ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies.
- Keeping accurate maintenance records and reports
Skill-sets and Requirements
- Candidates must already be based in Malta, with the legal right to work in Malta
- Excellent command in English
- Strong communication, technical and leadership skills
- Candidates must be mature, attentive, excellent communicators and problem-solvers
- Candidates must be self-starters, able to work well independently and as part of a team
Education & Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician within a manufacturing environment is a must
- Strong knowledge in mechanical and electrical systems, and the ability to read technical diagrams and manuals is a must
- Candidates who have experience working with blow-moulding and bottling machines will be given preference
- Candidates who are in possession of electrical licences A and B will be given preference
