Our client, a leading operational firm locally, are looking to recruit a Maintenance Team Lead to their growing team. Reporting Directly to the Operations Manager, the chosen candidate will:
- Conduct regular inspections of kitchen facilities, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems as needed;
- Oversee the testing, replacement, and installation of electrical and mechanical components, ensuring compliance with manufacturers' guidelines;
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment and systems are serviced according to preventive maintenance schedules;
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with all preventive maintenance protocols;
- Inspect and maintain building service systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems;
- Conduct daily checks on critical systems, such as pumps and refrigeration units, to ensure they are operating correctly;
- Identify potential issues within the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to prevent equipment breakdowns;
- Diagnose and resolve faults quickly and efficiently, implementing solutions that align with best practices;
- Ensure all kitchen and plant areas are clean, organized, and adhere to safety standards and regulations;
- Manage and uphold plumbing systems, promptly addressing any leaks or related issues to avoid operational disruptions;
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, coordinating and prioritizing tasks to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity;
- Oversee and execute modifications, upgrades, and new installations as required, ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budget.
Requirements
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
Education and Experience
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
- Proven experience in maintenance, preferably in a commercial kitchen or facilities management environment.
