Our client is a well established group of companies. They are looking for a dedicated individual to join their team as a Maintenance Person. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of their facilities, performing a variety of maintenance tasks to support a safe and efficient environment.
The Role
- Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to identify issues.
- Perform basic repairs and maintenance on plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Address and resolve maintenance requests from staff and management in a timely manner.
- Maintain inventory of repair supplies and equipment, ordering as necessary.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of facilities for events and activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
- Document maintenance activities and report on completed tasks and ongoing issues.
- Collaborate with external contractors for specialized repairs when necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience in maintenance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of equipment and systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
