Our client who operates within the Hospitality industry is looking for talent within their maintenance department. As the Maintenance Personnel, your duties will include but not limited to:
- Coordinate with both Housekeeping and Front Office regarding scheduled maintenance tasks.
- Review daily in-house activities.
- Monitor the daily usage of diesel, gas, and other necessary supplies to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel.
- Ensure maintenance tasks are completed efficiently, effectively, and based on priority.
- Ensure the pool's water quality meets government regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workshop and storage areas.
- Record daily maintenance tasks in a logbook.
- Perform maintenance in guest rooms and public areas, such as fixing toilets, unclogging drains, and painting.
- Assist the technician in daily hotel operations.
- Review new maintenance requests from the Property Management System (PMS).
- Carry out other duties assigned by the supervisor.
- Competent in using power tools.
Working hours for this role may differ. These would be discussed in further detail during the interview stages. Overtime is provided.
Requirements
- Able to work flexible hours.
- Able to maintain own working area, material and the property clean and in good condition.
- Updated on hotel fire and emergency procedures, health and safety protocols, and hotel SOP's.
Education and Experience
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry.
- An understanding of electrical and plumbing work.
- Must be able to do painting, grouting and plastering works.
