Within this Furniture Installer / Driver role, you will be working alongside another team member in ensuring safe delivery and installation of household furniture and goods. You will be responsible for:
- Transporting goods from the warehouse/showroom to clients
- Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules
- Loading and unloading the truck, which may include heavy lifting of packages
- Installing furniture according to blueprints or job tickets
- Mounting cabinets and bookshelves
- Preparing and cleaning up the job site
- Assembling furniture as needed
- Liaising with customer's queries when necessary and inform the warehouse manager of outstanding issues
- Maintaining a safe and clean workspace
Education & Experience
- Possess a valid Driving Licence Class C
- An excellent level of spoken and written English. Maltese language would be considered an asset
- Previous experience working in a Driver / Installer job is a must
- Currently living in Malta
