Our client is recruiting a Research Executive to initiate and conduct research activities related to economic, labour market and social policy affairs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for;
- Source and compile data: primary, secondary, quantitative, qualitative on any research area.
- Meet with members to discuss research requirements on economic, labour market and social policy maters
- Design surveys, compile and analyse statistical data and interpret data
- Formulate reports and make recommendations
- Recommend, initiate and conduct periodic and ad hoc research activities
- Apply for and manage EU projects and propose new projects
- Report and make presentations to Council on ad hoc matters and research projects connected to economic, labour market and social policy matters
- Assist in the design of training courses and conduct training sessions as required
- Liaise with government departments and ministries to obtain and process relevant intelligence and data
- Participate in media programmes or initiatives
- Assist in the coordination of courses, seminars and other activities
- Keep abreast of domestic and international developments in economic, labour market and social policy matters
Skill-sets and Requirements
- Proficient in English and Maltese
- Proficient in MS Office
Education & Experience
Degree in Economics or Social science
