QP - Qualified Person

Our client is a local pharmaceutical company and they are currently seeking the services of a Qualified Person to join their operations and assist in the regulatory functions. Your main responsibilities will include:-

  • Reviewing and releasing pharmaceutical products produced on the market
  • Ensuring that all processes are authorized and carried out in line with local regulatory requirements and European legislation
  • Leading supplier and client audits, overseeing compliance to ISO Standards, GMPS and FDA guidelines
  • Liaising with health authorities to ensure proper licensing of company operations
  • Identifying solutions for corrective and preventative actions, and following up on the implementation of those recommendations

Education and Experience:-

  • Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy or Chemistry & Biology is a must
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a QA/GMP Environment 
  • Eligible to act as a Qualified Person for the finished product
  • Experience working in an FDA Regulatory Environment and holding a QP status

Skills

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Highly conscientious and meticulous individual, assertive and with solid communication skills
  • Fluency in English is a must. Fluency in Maltese will be preferred
  • A results-driven individual and the ability to work under pressure
