Technical Sales and Business Developer

Our highly reputable company within the IT industry is looking for a passionate and motivated Technical Business Developer to manage the current client portfolio whilst bringing in new clients and managing the overall B2B sales.

Reporting directly to the COO, your responsibilities include:

  • Having full responsibility throughout the whole sales process; from the commencement of sales to the conclusion of the final sales with the customer.
  • Managing and monitoring the sales of the company’s products and services.
  • Designing, reviewing, improving, and implementing sales administration operational procedures and processes.
  • Monitoring sales target performance.
  • Issuing quotations, and scheduling appointments for the sales team to visit sites and customers.
  • Assisting in the compilation of tender documents and in the processing of contracts obtained.
  • Attending regular management meetings and proactively bringing forward ideas in order to increase the company's efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Liaising with the manager responsible for service delivery to ensure a smooth and seamless
    high-quality service to customers.
  • Managing and maintaining an updated customer database, preparing regular correspondence and
    newsletter for customers and identifying opportunities to market the Company’s products
    and promote sales.
  • Maintaining constant and regular communication with customers by regularly scheduled meetings.
  • Proactively recruit new customers and increase market coverage.

You will have a starting gross salary, however, due to the uncapped commission on this role, the salary can go up to an average of around €50,000 - €​60,000 yearly.

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • Knowledge in both Maltese and English.
  • Coming from a strong sales background with some technical knowledge.
  • Must have a clean and valid driving licence.
  • Candidates must be highly passionate, and driven with strong sales and peoples skills.
