Service Manager (After Sales)

Within this role of a Service Manager you will be making sure of a smooth operation within this automotive workshop, dealing with clients and leading a team. Main duties will be as follows:

  • Manage, plan and organize the daily work of the service garage, service reception and bodyshop
  • Supervise, motivate and mentor the team by carrying performance reviews and take necessary actions to align staff with business objectives
  • Handle client complaints and resolve successfully in a timely manner
  • Submit regular and ad hoc reports to the general manager on the performance of the department or section in a timely manner
  • Recommend business plan and adhere to approved budgets of the department
  • Travel when necessary to attend conferences, training and seminars to enhance the company's relationship with its suppliers

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • Experience within a workshop in the automotive industry considered an asset
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize
  • Good leadership skills and able to perform well under pressure
  • Excellent communication across all levels
  • IT Savvy: Excel Reporting
  • Strong technical and analytical skills
  • Good Command of Maltese and English is needed

Education & Experience

Diploma in a relevant subject will be considered an asset
