Senior Business Development Manager

  Central Malta  |  €55,000 - €70,000  

Our client operates in the media sector and they are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to join their team.  This is an exciting position and calls for a creative and outgoing person whose main goals will be to seek new revenue streams and ensure that current revenue steams are maximised to full potential especially the digital areas

The Role

  • You will work closely with the CEO & Executive Senior Management to ensure that you monetise the digital platforms to full potential
  • You will spearhead relationships with company senior management within local companies to discuss business collaborations that are fruitful for both parties
  • Ensure that the Marketing Strategy reflects the drive to enhance monetisation through more digitalisation
  • Conduct ongoing research and analyse the industry, market and competitors to make informed strategy decisions
  • Seek and create initiatives to take advantage of market opportunities, reduce operational threats, curb business risks, and maximise core strengths 
  • Ensure that the Sales Strategy is well defined, monitored and delivered on an ongoing basis
  • Sales and Marketing employees will have a dotted reporting line into you
  • You will be working closely with the CEO to steer the company to the next level

Salary will depend on experience
There will also be a commission structure

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • Having experience of maximising digital revenue streams will be considered a strong asset
  • You will have proven Business Development, Marketing and Sales Skills
  • Digital Marketing skills must be advanced
  • You will have excellent communications skills having the capability of communicating with clients at different levels
  • You are assertive yet approachable
  • Be a goal getter and a self starter
  • You will have strong leadership skills

Education & Experience

You will preferably have tertiary level of education
