Sales Team Leader (Retail)

Within this job of a Sales Team Leader you would be reporting directly to the Sales and Commercial Manager while being responsible to run the sales department smoothly and efficiently.  Main duties include:

  • Ensuring the showroom operation runs smoothly and efficiently
  • Spending time in the showroom assisting with sales and other customer facing matters that might arise
  • Leading the team and ensuring that the sales objectives and other related KPIs are met
  • Monitoring and evaluating teams performance - coaching and supporting when and where needed
  • Ensuring the team is motivated whilst tackling any issues related to the team

Working hours:  Monday to Friday - 09:00 to 19:00 and Saturday 09:00 to 13:00 (with one day off during the week)

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience within a managerial role in a sales environment
  • Direct experience in the design / furniture industry would be considered an asset
  • Confident, driven and proactive
  • Excellent customer care ethics
  • Approachable while also being fluent in both Maltese and English

Education & Experience

Diploma level of Education in a related field is a minimum requirement - Sales, Marketing or Management
