Sales Representative

  Central Malta  |  starting from €25,000 Annually 

Our client within the Pharmaceutical industry, is looking to recruit a Sales Representative to join their growing team. The chosen candidate will:

  • Promote and sell the company’s pharmaceutical products to healthcare providers.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets within the assigned territory.
  • Plan and implement sales strategies to increase market penetration.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including doctors, pharmacists, and Healthcare retail stores.
  • Serve as a reliable resource for product information, addressing questions and concerns about product use and benefits.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing relevant updates on new products and industry developments.
  • Deliver presentations and demonstrations on the use, benefits, and potential side effects of pharmaceutical products.
  • Stay informed about the latest research, products, and industry trends to provide accurate and up-to-date information to clients.
  • Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities and trends within the territory.
  • Monitor competitors’ activities and provide feedback to the marketing and management teams.
  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions, sales performance, and territory activities.
  • Adhere to industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards in all interactions.
  • Stay updated on compliance requirements related to pharmaceutical sales.

Requirements

  • Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills for engaging with healthcare professionals.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, healthcare systems, and pharmaceutical products is given preference.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Confidence and professionalism in building relationships.
  • Must be able to work on their own initiative.

Education and Experience

  • Recent experience in the same role is a must, and experience in the pharmaceutical is given preference.
  • Demonstrated experience in sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
