Sales Manager (FMCG)

Malta  |  up to €40,000  

As the Sales Manager within the HORECA sector your prime focus will be to drive the growth of the business within the food service outlets by directing and assisting your team to follow up on leads, identifying new business, closing deals and maintaining relationships with clients.  Your main duties will be:

  • Identify the growth potential in new and existing catering clients of the company
  • Motivate and direct your sales team to achieve the desired results, both on an individual basis and as a team
  • Nurture and enhance business relationships with regular clients
  • Remain current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors
  • Set targets to the team to achieve the desired objectives of the company
  • Report to management on a regular basis

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • Presentable and good at negotiating
  • Excellent communication skills in Maltese and English is a must
  • Passionate about food, meat and over catering industry
  • IT Savvy
  • In possession of driving license
  • Good interpersonal, leadership and organisational skills

Education & Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a sales managing function, preferably in the food industry
  • Educational background within the food and catering industry is seen as a major plus
  • Proven track record in sales
