Sales Executive (Ship Supply)

Within this job of a Sales Executive (Ship Supplies) you will be responsible for B2B sales with international client's and vessel visits as well as desk based customer relations / correspondence with a well established company within the ship supply industry here in Malta.  

  • While forming part of a team and reporting to the Sales Manager, your main duties will include:
  • Selling ship supplies, services and goods  to all existing international client's
  • Ensuring that all customer enquiries / orders are tackled within a timely manner
  • Liaising with teams internally:  sales, procurement, accounts, delivery / warehouse
  • Establishing contacts and securing new clients while nurturing the working  relationship
  • Marketing and promoting the company’s supplies service
  • Taking an active interest in working closely with all team members and supporting when needed
  • Contributing by sharing / reporting relevant information with management from any industry derived information from the field.

Working hours:  Regular office hours from Monday to Friday + weekends on a Roster basis (1 weekend every 4 weeks).

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • Sales experience is required with a preference given to international sales and B2B exposure
  • Computer Literate
  • Professional level of English (written and spoken)
  • Excellent communicator (via telephone, virtual meetings, written communication and in person)
  • Good negotiations skills

Education & Experience

  • Diploma level of Education is preferred
  • IT savvy - Microsoft Applications and emails
  • In possession of a local driving licence
