Sales and Distribution Manager

€35,000 - €40,000  |  Malta

A new Sales and Distribution Manager position is now available within the manufacturing industry. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing relationships with distributors and the company's direct clients such as hotels and supermarkets
  • Handling disputes with clients and/or distributors that may arise from time to time and suggesting suitable solutions offered by the company
  • Monitoring market trends and consumer behaviors and habits
  • Reviewing retail market, major listings, brands and product distribution
  • Ensuring that the right products are delivered to the right location on time and at a good cost
  • Issuing and analyzing sales data and presenting such figures to the CEO as and when required 
  • Evaluating quality and performance through number crunching exercises 

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in a managerial position, ideally within Sales or Client Management
  • Excellent client relationship management skills
  • Proficiency in written and spoken Maltese and English
  • An energetic ‘self-starter’ with a results-driven mind-set
  • Strong commercial awareness and a talent for building lasting business relationships
  • Excellent number crunching skills
  • Charismatic and holding an affable personality with the capability of dealing with clients hailing from all walks of life

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Management or Business Administration is preferred
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
