Sales and Business Developer (Sports / Fitness)

Our client, an international company that's focused on Tech and Sports, is recruiting for a Sales / Business Developer to join their growing team here in Malta. The ideal candidate would have a domain / experience in athletics / coaching  to help expand their B2B business by developing and managing our sales pipeline, communicating with prospects (inbound and outbound) and researching new opportunities. Here, you will;

  • Research new lead opportunities within college, amateur and professional sports teams
  • Engage and qualify inbound leads and inquiries via email, text and phone calls
  • Build a database of leads and manage CRM
  • Make outbound emails and phone calls to customers and prospects to set appointments
  • Engage current users to expand awareness, ask for referrals and identify new opportunities
  • Work with the rest of the team to close sales opportunities
  • Schedule appointments and demos for new leads
  • Be a subject matter expert & ambassador for products
  • Hold thoughtful and engaging conversations over the phone and email
  • Other duties as assigned

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • Ideal candidates would be affiliated to the industry, be confident and hold client relationship management experience
  • Proven experience in sales development
  • Passionate about sport, performance & health
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (including fluent English)
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Strong IT skills
  • Willingness to learn and be proactive
  • Based in Malta
