Retail Sales Representative (Furniture)

€18,000 - €25,000  | 

As the Sales Representative you will be reporting the Sales Manager and forming part of a team while assisting customers in their purchasing needs when visiting the retail outlet. Your responsibilities will be the following:

  • Greeting customers and assisting with their selection process
  • Listening to the requests and needs, providing guidance on products accordingly
  • Assisting with aftercare needs by following up on the sales order making sure the agreed timeframes are met
  • Keeping abreast with the furniture industry trends:  kitchens, bedrooms, living and dining
  • Assisting with the upkeep of the outlet, always making sure products are well displayed

Basic Salary plus commission will be given the successful candidate

Working Hours - Retail hours, plus overtime when needed
 

Education & Experience

  • Minimum level of education: Secondary Level
  • 2 years experience within a sales environment is preferred
  • IT Savvy:  Word and Excel needed
  • Knowledge of ACAD is considered an asset but not a must
  • Native level of Maltese is a must
  • Knowledge of English and/or Italian is seen as a plus
